 studied Greek and French Language and Literature at the University of Athens. Post-graduate studies in France: Linguistics (D.E.A., 1984) and Language Engineering and Specialized Translation (D.E.S.S., 1994). Ph.D. from the Department of Theoretical and Formal Linguistics of the University of Paris VII - Denis Diderot in 1995. She worked for the Greek Embassy in France (1985-1990), for the LACITO research laboratory (1990-1995) of the CNRS (National Research Centre of France) and for the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) in Athens (1996-2002). Since 2002, she is teaching at the University of Cyprus. Membership in the Hellenic Society for Terminology (ELETO) and European Association for Terminology (EAFT). Active participation in many terminology conferences, numerous publications.
